Internship Program- Photos
The Museum had 2 interns from Virginia State University in Spring 2008. Demetrice and Javel did an excellent job in their areas of expertise and learned about the workings of a museum.
Demetrice completed an "Oral History" Internship during which she learned about the Veteran's History Project, conducted interviews, cataloged and organized the museum's database.

Javel completed an "Exhibits" Internship during which she learned about how to develop and create temporary and permanent exhibits. She designed and completed the museum's African-American Black History Month Temporary Exhibit. She also contributed research and technical input to the museum's ongoing project to update the Vietnam War exhibit.
