This unique program enables students to look at the effects of World War II on the home front by looking at the contributions of African-American women in the war. The students will study oral histories, primary documents, and government publications in studying remarkable women such as Charity Adams, Noel Campbell and the 6888th Grades Postal Battalion as it mobilizes, trains, and heads to Europe to help in the fight against Germany.
