Rosie
  Grades 4-12

Students will examine the effects of World War II on the home front by looking at the contributions of women to the war effort. Students will meet a "Rosie the Riveter" who then joined the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps. Photographs, archival material and artifacts are used to follow the life of Dorothy Wise as she works at the Canton, Ohio Ordnance Factory and then joins the Army to serve overseas.
